Damos la bienvenida a todos nuestros lectores en este primer número de 2019 del Boletín FLASOG. Esperamos contar con su preferencia durante todo este año, porque seguiremos trabajando para darles a conocer investigaciones y noticias médicas, así como temas relacionados con la salud que sean de utilidad en su práctica médica.

A pesar de los obstáculos normales y de las dificultades que se presentan cuando se dan los primeros pasos en la digitalización y masificación de nuestros servicios, nuestra posición es bastante sólida y el espíritu de FLASOG es cada vez más fuerte, consciente de que estamos en el camino correcto. Con disciplina, visión y entusiasmo, 2018 nos hizo más fuertes.

2018 fue un año de muchos retos e intenso trabajo que nos trajo múltiples enseñanzas, siendo la principal, apreciar lo que realmente cuenta: nuestros valores. Ellos son efectivamente la luz que nos guía en las tempestades: así fue en 2018 y estamos seguros que así será en 2019.

Estamos comprometidos a trabajar duro, a ser creativos; mantendremos el espíritu mostrado y en ese sentido, estamos seguros que 2019 también será un año de grandes logros institucionales.

Hemos cumplido los objetivos que proyectamos, entregando a la comunidad latinoamericana este medio de comunicación que viene a reafirmar el compromiso de FLASOG con las Sociedades afiliadas y con los gineco-obstetras latinoamericanos.

Desde nuestros espacios de trabajo, FLASOG pretende contribuir a facilitar a los especialistas de nuestro continente el acceso a la información médica actualizada y por ende, mejorar la calidad de la atención a nuestras mujeres.

En los próximas publicaciones incluiremos nuevas secciones que estamos seguros serán de gran interés para todos nuestros seguidores, a los que hacemos una nueva invitación a participar activamente en ella con artículos que consideren sean de interés continental.

Esperamos que los conocimientos vertidos en todos los artículos, estudios, noticias e investigaciones aquí mostradas, los integren a su práctica médica y les permitan innovar en sus campos de trabajo.

Finalmente, creemos oportuno manifestar nuestra total convicción en que la difusión de las investigaciones, noticias y reflexiones que presentamos en este medio, serán un aporte que nutrirá a nuestros lectores y de alguna manera será una fuente de conocimiento. Agradecemos a quienes han hecho posible este Boletín FLASOG y a todos los colaboradores, por su esfuerzo y dedicación, gracias a los cuales se hizo posible concretar este tan caro anhelo. Su apoyo permanente ha hecho posible cumplir con los dos objetivos centrales de esta herramienta, que son: la difusión de noticias e investigaciones de interés general y ser agente de promoción de la cultura profesional. De igual modo, hacemos extensivo nuestro agradecimiento a todas las Sociedades que integran FLASOG, por su constante compromiso con la actualización médica continua y muy particularmente con el desarrollo de nuestro Boletín FLASOG.

Deseamos que este 2019 nos traiga salud, paz, bienestar y crecimiento personal que venga a fortalecer a nuestras instituciones y a nuestras mujeres latinoamericanas.

A NEW YEAR – A NEW CHALLENGE

We welcome all our readers in this first issue of 2019 of the FLASOG Newsletter. We hope to have your preference throughout this year, because we will continue working to make you aware of research and medical news, as well as health-related topics that are useful in your medical practice.

Despite the normal obstacles and difficulties that arise when the first steps are taken in the digitization and massification of our services, our position is quite solid and the spirit of FLASOG is becoming stronger, aware that we are in the correct road. With discipline, vision and enthusiasm, 2018 made us stronger.

2018 was a year of many challenges and intense work that brought us multiple lessons, the main one being appreciating what really counts: our values. They are indeed the light that guides us in storms: this is how it was in 2018 and we are sure that it will be this way in 2019.

We are committed to working hard, being creative; We will maintain the spirit shown and in this sense, we are sure that 2019 will also be a year of great institutional achievements.

We have fulfilled the objectives that we projected, delivering to the Latin American community this means of communication that comes to reaffirm FLASOG’s commitment with the affiliated Societies and with the Latin American gynecologists-obstetricians.

From our work spaces, FLASOG intends to contribute to facilitating access to up-to-date medical information for specialists on our continent and, therefore, improve the quality of care for our women.

In the next publications we will include new sections that we are sure will be of great interest to all our followers, to whom we make a new invitation to actively participate in it with articles that they consider to be of continental interest.

We hope that the knowledge expressed in all the articles, studies, news and research shown here integrates them into your medical practice and allows you to innovate in your fields of work.

Finally, we believe it opportune to express our total conviction that the dissemination of the investigations, news and reflections that we present in this medium will be a contribution that will nourish our readers and in some way will be a source of knowledge. We thank those who have made this FLASOG Bulletin possible and all the collaborators, for their effort and dedication, thanks to which it was possible to achieve this dearly longing. Their permanent support has made it possible to fulfill the two central objectives of this tool, which are: the dissemination of news and research of general interest and being an agent for the promotion of professional culture. Similarly, we extend our gratitude to all the Societies that make up FLASOG,

We hope that this 2019 brings us health, peace, well-being and personal growth that will strengthen our institutions and our Latin American women.

UM NOVO ANO – UM NOVO DESAFIO

Damos as boas-vindas a todos os nossos leitores nesta primeira edição de 2019 do Boletim FLASOG. Esperamos contar com a sua preferência ao longo deste ano, pois continuaremos trabalhando para que você fique a par de pesquisas e notícias médicas, bem como de temas relacionados à saúde que sejam úteis em sua prática médica.

Apesar dos normais obstáculos e dificuldades que surgem quando são dados os primeiros passos na digitalização e massificação dos nossos serviços, a nossa posição é bastante sólida e o espírito da FLASOG vai-se fortalecendo, consciente de que estamos no caminho certo. Com disciplina, visão e entusiasmo, 2018 nos fortaleceu.

2018 foi um ano de muitos desafios e trabalho intenso que nos trouxe várias lições, sendo a principal a valorização do que realmente conta: nossos valores. Eles são de fato a luz que nos guia nas tempestades: foi assim em 2018 e temos certeza de que será assim em 2019.

Estamos comprometidos em trabalhar duro, sendo criativos; Manteremos o espírito demonstrado e, nesse sentido, temos a certeza de que 2019 será também um ano de grandes conquistas institucionais.

Cumprimos os objetivos que projetamos, entregando à comunidade latino-americana este meio de comunicação que vem reafirmar o compromisso da FLASOG com as Sociedades afiliadas e com os ginecologistas-obstetras latino-americanos.

A partir de nossos espaços de trabalho, a FLASOG pretende contribuir para facilitar o acesso a informações médicas atualizadas para especialistas em nosso continente e, assim, melhorar a qualidade do atendimento às nossas mulheres.

Nas próximas publicações iremos incluir novas secções que temos a certeza que serão de grande interesse para todos os nossos seguidores, a quem fazemos um novo convite para nele participarem activamente com artigos que considerem de interesse continental.

Esperamos que o conhecimento expresso em todos os artigos, estudos, notícias e pesquisas aqui apresentados integre-os à sua prática médica e permita inovar em suas áreas de atuação.

Por fim, julgamos oportuno manifestar a nossa total convicção de que a divulgação das investigações, notícias e reflexões que apresentamos neste meio será um contributo que alimentará os nossos leitores e de alguma forma será uma fonte de conhecimento. Agradecemos a quem tornou possível este Boletim FLASOG e a todos os colaboradores, pelo seu esforço e dedicação, graças aos quais foi possível concretizar este tão querido anseio. O seu apoio permanente permitiu cumprir os dois objetivos centrais desta ferramenta, que são: a divulgação de notícias e pesquisas de interesse geral e ser um agente de promoção da cultura profissional. Da mesma forma, estendemos nossa gratidão a todas as Sociedades que compõem a FLASOG,
