The Latin American Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology Societies (FLASOG), which, as expressed in its Statutes, groups scientific institutions (Societies, Associations, Colleges and Federations) in Latin America in a regionalized manner and that promotes health in a comprehensive manner, well-being of women and their rights, remembers today March 8, International Women’s Day, and endorses the motto “gender equality for a sustainable tomorrow”
FLASOG recognizes the role of women and girls in the world for change with equity, and joins their action to eradicate the differences that exist to date, promoting not only the recognition of sexual and reproductive rights but also the defense of them in all the countries of the region.
A tomorrow without equality is not a sustainable future, a tomorrow without equality is the denial of a better future for women in the world.

A Federação Latino-Americana de Sociedades de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia (FLASOG), que, conforme expresso em seus Estatutos, agrupa instituições científicas (Sociedades, Associações, Faculdades e Federações) da América Latina de forma regionalizada e que promove a saúde de forma integral, bem -ser das mulheres e seus direitos, lembra hoje 8 de março, Dia Internacional da Mulher, e endossa o lema “igualdade de gênero para um amanhã sustentável”
FLASOG reconhece o papel das mulheres e meninas no mundo para a mudança com equidade, e une sua ação para erradicar as diferenças que existem até agora, promovendo não só o reconhecimento dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos, mas também a defesa deles em todos os países da região.
Um amanhã sem igualdade não é um futuro sustentável, um amanhã sem igualdade é a negação de um futuro melhor para as mulheres no mundo.
